I just recently had several of the components on my computer overclocked, and I cannot believe how well my computer runs now. Even the super high tech, top of the line computers in the computer labs at the Journalism School at Indiana did not run this well. Everything runs practically instantaneously, and I absolutely love it. It saves me a bunch of time, which allows me to get more work done. I often do several things at once on my computer, between writing and graphic design, so being able to move through the programs so quickly is a huge benefit. I work from home, and off of my laptop, so any time I am able to make my life easier, it is welcomed. I really do love being able to call the couch in front of my television my office. One of my friends was telling me that his office is very casual, and he is able to wear jeans to work. I joked with him that at my office, I do not even need to wear pants, well, as long as nobody else is around. Another advantage of working from home is that I am able to travel and still get work done.
