I had no idea my friend went bankrupt. I only found out the other day. I had wondered how he was getting the money to pay for all these random adventures he would go on. He has been to some pretty incredible places. First it was the trip to Tibet. Then he wound up going to Nepal and Myanmar. Then it was India and Peru. He's been writing the most incredible stories about it all and keeping everyone updated with photographs but he never mentioned anything about the bankruptcy in those stories which kind of makes me laugh. He always did have a way of working the system to his advantage. I'm starting to think what he did is a pretty smart idea. He didn't have any reservation about telling me either. I just asked him exactly where he was getting the money to pay for all of this and he told me that he started off by using his credit cards and from there he got a little crazy with the spending. Plus some unexpected things happened with lodging and flights which wound up costing him more money than he thought.  He told me if he could've avoided it he would have but he also reminded me that you only live once!
